Kriss Morton - In the Loft of the Cabin Goddess

ugh ugh ugh. This is not something I would suggest to even my middle school age kids. It was written for teens in mind but no teen I know think or talks like that. Plus its insulting to assume kids are dumb. When authors stop respecting their readers. That is how it was for me. I had to force myself to finish the book and then ask to be removed from the tour.

Tell tell tell. never any show. Plus if you're going to write in one of the most difficult to execute point of views, third person omniscient, make sure You actually can.

The characters were NOT in anyway believable. I...gobsmacked. Two stars because the idea was fun. Otherwise ugh. I really wanted to like this book. But if you have an average reader and up in Middle School or High School, don't insult them with suggesting this for a read.
